Art Dialogues stand as a medium of exploration and experimentation of the human reactions on the stimuli that the artists leave behind on each of their creations. They are a step of demonstration that art is there to be interacted with, played with, comprehended, challenged.
Those impulse creative discussions with museum exhibits or urban pieces of art are not directed, pre-organized, neither filtered nor edited. They are just a record of the unfiltered feelings or emotions that act as a reaction of an interaction with art and are devoted to explore and express the connection between the artist, the message, the art (as an amplifier) and the receiver.
“Since I was a child, I was intrigued by the fascinating world of the museums, the diversity of the civilizations, the historical periods and the thousands of colorful stimuli that evoked my fantasy. I remember myself dancing in front of art pieces, drawing the colors I had captured in my mind and returning dozens of times back to those pieces that triggered me to study them more...
Now, that I feel like a grown-up kid, museums intrigue me and challenge my creativity, more than ever before.
It is for our personal satisfaction, that my friend, Anthony Karlovits and I, started recording our reactions each time we were visiting a museum or an exhibition anywhere in the globe.
Looking back is like connecting the dots... I am still being asked many times not to jump, not to dance, not to make a lot of gestures in front of a piece of art, as if I could wake up someone by not even speaking. Now, I know why. I can’t just stay still in front of an artwork; I have to express myself. It is art that wakes me up, not the other way around...”
