Perspective is the way individuals see the world. It comes from their personal viewpoint and is shaped by life experiences, values, their current state of mind, the assumptions they bring into a situation, and a whole lot of other things. [Steffan Surdek]
Many argue that their viewpoint is the reality, but forget that this is only their reality.
Our perspectives shape how we act or react in a situation.
So, if you want to become the leader in your life and business you should recognize and value different viewpoints, identify the assumptions on which each view is based, and overcome the natural tendency to pay more attention to points of view with which you agree. Deliberately spending more time reading, thinking about, and examining ideas that differ from your own, will help you broaden your perspective and see things more clearly.
